Puerto Rico born photographer Omar Z Robles is currently working and living in New York City. He is well known for his New York dancers, where the Leica ambassador was juxtaposing the clean lines of dancers against the rugged city landscapes. But before his series of dancers became famous, Robles was shooting celebrities, athletes, artists, politicians and city dwellers for The Chicago Tribune’s Hoy, Metro San Juan and Latino Leaders. His heart was always beating for his own street photography portfolio, where Robles can express his own story as he's wandering through New York City.
Why we believe in this NFT: The black and white series ‘PDAs NYC’ explores public displays of affection in every corner of NYC in the form of a visual narrative. What happens when these private moments occur in the public eye?
We warmly welcome Omar Z Robles to Jenny DAO
