Yener Torun, an architect-turned-photography artist, with a decade of experience was born in 1982 in Turhal, Turkiey. Currently residing in Istanbul, Torun studied architecture at Istanbul Technical University. Torun states about his images: 'My compositions usually flatten space, emphasizing line and color over depth. I transform the urban landscape, reframing architecture as geometric abstraction and creates an alternative reality by abstracting architectural elements from their original environment and repurposing them.' Why we believe in: Yener Torun captures an ordinary building and makes it into an eye-catching urban image.
